Do I need an account to order from Anchor Metals?
No. Guest checkout is fully supported. You can create an account to track orders and save addresses, but it's not required to buy.
How is shipping priced?
By weight, from your ship-to ZIP, and you see the number in your cart before you pay. Orders of $2,000 and up get 50% off shipping; orders of $5,000 and up ship free. An order with a piece 96″ or longer gets the 50% off but never ships free.

Can I get a custom cut?
Yes. Our cut-to-size configurator lets you specify exact dimensions with tolerance controls. Pricing updates in real-time. Sheet and plate support width × length cuts. Bar, rod, and tube support length cuts.
How do I request a Mill Test Report (MTR)?
Paper MTRs ship with every order automatically. For a digital copy, request an e-MTR from the order lookup page (guests) or your account portal (account holders). We’ll forward the supplier’s original cert to your email.
What if my order is large or oversize?
A piece too long, too wide or too heavy for FedEx or UPS ships by freight truck. Those orders go through a quote — you'll receive it within 1 business day, with the freight on it before you pay. We ship a single piece up to 16 ft full length; longer stock is cut to 16 ft or less, any way you want, at no charge. A carrier takes only ONE of length or width over 94″ — material wider than that is quoted for pickup or your own carrier, and we say so on the quote, before you pay.
